The answer

Firstly: Zakat on the wealth of minors is obligatory if the share of each of them reaches the nisab, and the guardian must disburse it from their wealth, or from his own wealth as a loan. This is the view of the majority of scholars. If one of them reaches puberty, he is to pay zakat on his own wealth.

Secondly: Usurious gains obtained from their wealth must be disposed of by giving them to the poor and needy upon receipt. They may benefit from it if they are poor.

Thirdly: Zakat is obligatory on jewelry prepared for use and storage if it reaches the nisab, and one-quarter of one-tenth of its value is to be given.

Fourthly: The wealth of children is not combined with the wealth of the guardian or with each other; rather, the wealth of each person is subject to zakat individually.

Fifthly: Newly acquired wealth, such as Eid allowances and savings from salaries, is subject to zakat when a full year passes, provided the original amount reached the nisab.

Sixthly: Wealth placed in the Guardianship Council, which the children cannot receive until a certain age, is not subject to zakat. Instead, they pay zakat on it themselves when they receive it for the past years, according to the most cautious opinion, or for one year, or a new hawl (zakat year) begins with it.
