Your prayer is valid if you did not intentionally return to the first , and you thought it was the final Tashahhud.
Since you performed the before completing the prayer, you must return to a sitting position, then say 'Allahu Akbar' to stand up and perform the missed rak'ah. Then, you prostrate for forgetfulness ( al-sahw) at the end of the prayer.
If you stood up immediately without sitting, you must repeat the prayer.
