Did Uthman, may Allah be pleased with him, complete the recitation of the Qur’an in a single prostration, and what is the evidence for that?

The meaning of "sajdah" here is a rak'ah (unit of prayer). In the Prophetic tradition: "If one of you catches a sajdah of the Asr prayer... then let him complete his prayer." Ibn Battal clarified that what is meant by sajdah here is a rak'ah. It is reported that Uthman ibn Affan recited the entire Qur'an in one rak'ah, as mentioned by Ibn Hajar and Al-Bayhaqi about Uthman.
