Are two expiations obligatory or just one for breaking an oath not to visit relatives, and for not fulfilling a promise to Allah that was later carried out?

We ask Allah to reward the questioner with good for her patience. She was right in choosing expiation for her oath instead of boycotting her relatives, because this aligns with the command to suppress anger and pardon, and with what the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, commanded regarding expiating an oath if breaking it is better. As for breaking a promise, if it was merely a promise that did not entail a vow, then nothing is incurred by not fulfilling it, though it is commendable to fulfill it.
