Is it permissible for a Muslim to slaughter two animals with the intention of performing the aqiqah for his son at his daughter's wedding feast, and is it necessary to inform people of this?

If the intention is to slaughter two sheep for the aqiqah and one sheep for the walimah (wedding feast), and to present all of them, there is no harm in that.

However, if the intention is to slaughter the two sheep with the dual intention of aqiqah and walimah simultaneously, the Malikis have permitted this. They argue that there is nothing in the Sunnah that prevents such a combination, that the legislator's (Allah's) objective is the act of slaughtering, and that feeding for the walimah does not contradict the shedding of blood for the aqiqah.
