What is the ruling on taking money in exchange for appointing someone to a job in one of the public sector companies, and what is the Islamic legal ruling on this transaction?

It is permissible for an intermediary to take financial compensation for finding a job opportunity for a qualified person, unless this leads to usurping the right of another. As for the employee who appoints the person, it is not permissible for him to take any compensation if that is part of his original work or involves infringing upon the right of another. It is permissible for the job seeker to pay the amount if he is deserving and qualified for the job and is certain that there is no one more entitled to this position than him.
