Is it permissible for a woman who wears the niqab to attend training courses taught by a man, or to work in a place frequented by men and women, with the aim of alleviating her father's mood swings, or for financial independence, or to socialize with people to increase her chances of marriage, given that some women believe her niqab is the reason for her delayed marriage and unemployment, and are intermingling and displaying oneself (tabarruj) considered reasons for marriage?

Your female relative must honor her father and not raise her voice at him or treat him badly. It is permissible for her to attend beneficial training courses, provided there is no khalwa (unlawful privacy with a member of the opposite sex) or suspicious mixing, and that she ensures there is no fitna (temptation/strife). A woman's adherence to modesty and chastity does not delay her marriage; rather, it is a cause for Allah's pleasure and the facilitation of matters. Delayed marriage is a part of Allah's decree, which He executes with His wisdom and mercy. Allah the Almighty said: "And it may be that you dislike a thing which is good for you and that you like a thing which is bad for you. Allah knows but you do not know." (Quran 2:216). Allah may divert something from a servant and reserve something better for him instead. It is permissible for a woman to offer herself in marriage to a righteous man, within specific guidelines and manners.
