Is it true that it is said that women who adorn themselves immodestly are cursed by Allah?

Promiscuous display (tabarruj) is condemned by Allah Almighty. It was a practice of the women of the Age of Ignorance (Jahiliyyah), a characteristic of hypocritical women, and a cause for entering Hellfire. This is evidenced by Allah's saying: "And do not display yourselves as [was] the display of the former times of ignorance," and the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "The worst of your women are the promiscuously displaying and arrogant ones; they are the hypocritical women. None of them will enter Paradise except like the rare white-footed crow." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) also mentioned that among the inhabitants of Hell will be "women who are clothed yet naked, inclining [to evil] and inclining [others] to it. Their heads are like the humps of leaning camels. They will not enter Paradise nor will they find its scent." The meaning of "clothed yet naked" is that they wear thin clothes that reveal their allurements, or they cover some parts of their bodies while exposing others, or they are clothed in garments but naked of the garment of piety and chastity. This severe warning is sufficient to deter one from promiscuous display.
