What are the means that assist in having a good opinion of Allah?

Having a good opinion of Allah Almighty is a religious obligation and a branch of faith. It is achieved by contemplating the creation of the self and Allah’s kindness and mercy, by reciting and pondering the Quran, by supplicating frequently, and by reading books and hadiths that encourage and deter. A servant must combine a good opinion [of Allah] with fear when in good health, and should prioritize hope and a good opinion [of Allah] when ill and facing signs of death, for Allah Almighty says: "Indeed, they used to hasten to good deeds and supplicate to Us with hope and fear, and they were to Us humbly submissive," and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Let none of you die except while having a good opinion of Allah Almighty," and Allah Almighty says: "I am as My servant expects Me to be."
