Does divorce take place or is expiation obligatory for one who swore to his wife, saying: "I swear by Allah, if you cross this threshold, you are divorced," pointing to the threshold of his living room door, then his wife crossed the threshold shortly after for another purpose?

"Contingent divorce occurs upon the fulfillment of the condition it is tied to, even if the husband did not intend divorce by it. This is the view of the majority of scholars. Anger does not prevent the occurrence of divorce unless the person experiencing it is unaware of what he is saying."
