What is the ruling on money earned from managing a central dish network, and is it religiously permissible to continue this work?

The Sharia came to achieve and perfect benefits, and to disable and reduce harms, and to prefer the better of two good things, and to avert the worse of two bad things.

If the purpose of establishing the network is to reduce evil and corruption, and leaving it would lead to the spread of forbidden acts, then there is no harm in its continuation, even if some forbidden acts are interspersed due to necessity, because averting some evil is better than leaving all of it.

As for the profits exceeding the capital, the amount of the forbidden wage for broadcasting forbidden acts, due to necessity, should be disbursed from it. This amount should be spent on the welfare of Muslims, and the rest is permissible. The original capital is not to be deducted from at all.

This permissibility is restricted to a state of necessity that necessitates broadcasting all or some of what is forbidden. Whenever it is possible to dispense with what is forbidden, it must be done immediately.
