Who accompanied the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and Abu Bakr on the night of the Hijra?

The Prophet's migration (Hijra) and his biography are full of lessons. A Muslim should learn from them love for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, for his faith is not complete until the Messenger is dearer to him than his family, all people, and himself, as stated in the Hadith: "None of you will have faith until I am dearer to him than his child, his father, and all people."

Accompanying the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, on the Hijra were Abu Bakr As-Siddiq and Abdullah ibn Urayqit Ad-Du'ali, who was a polytheist hired for his expertise in paths. Some narrations also mention Amir ibn Fuhayra, the freed slave of Abu Bakr. The Hijra teaches a Muslim the necessity of taking means (precautionary measures) and then relying on Allah, as the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, did when he took precautions and hired a guide, assuring Abu Bakr: "What do you think of two people of whom Allah is the third?"
