Is it permissible for a father to exercise guardianship over the his sane, adult son's money without the latter's consent, and what is the ruling on revoking this guardianship?

If the son is of sound judgment, the father is not permitted to dispose of his money except with his permission. However, it is permissible for the father to benefit from his son's money when there is a need, based on the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "You and your wealth belong to your father."

If the father disposes of the son's money for the public good during his minority or lack of sound judgment, then this guardianship ceases once the son reaches maturity and sound judgment.
