What should I do with my religious wife who laughs and smiles carelessly with her male colleagues at work, and when reminded, she becomes angry and asks for a divorce, then repeats the same action after she calms down? And are there any fatwas that prohibit this that can be presented to her?

The husband must enjoin his wife to do what is good and forbid her from doing what is evil. A woman's sitting, joking, and laughing with non-mahram men is forbidden and dangerous, because it falls under the category of speaking in a soft and alluring manner (khuḍūʿ bi-al-qawl), which is prohibited by Islamic law. The wife must repent. If she does not, her husband should threaten to prevent her from going to work if she persists in the sin. The permissibility of a woman's work is conditioned upon the availability of Islamic legal controls.
