Going to barbershops involves many reprehensible acts that must be avoided and given attention, including: Western haircuts that involve imitation of disbelievers, tampering with hair such as Al-Qaza’ (shaving part of the head and leaving part), plucking eyebrows, and shaving the beard, being exposed to temptation by effeminate men, and spending money on disobedience and wasting time on what barbers do, such as applying makeup to men.
