Is it permissible, in Islamic law, for a competitor to falsify a national service document regarding its expiry date, and to work and earn a living through it?

The contestant sins by committing forgery because it falls under false witness and false speech. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, warned against this, saying: "Shall I not inform you of the greatest of major sins?" three times: "Associating partners with Allah, disobedience to parents, and false witness – or false speech." The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, also denied that a believer could be a liar. However, despite the prohibition of forgery, if he performs the required work correctly, he is permitted to continue in it and earn a livelihood from it.
