What is the Muslim woman's duty toward a Muslim man who has begun to dispute religious matters and mock them, despite their prior knowledge of his devoutness, and what is her stance regarding her husband's reaction, as he asked her to remain silent?

If a Muslim witnesses a gathering where the verses of Allah are being ridiculed, he must condemn the perpetrators with his hand or tongue; if unable, then with his heart. If the reprehensible act persists, he must leave the gathering, for Allah (the Exalted) says: "And He has already revealed to you in the Book that when you hear the verses of Allah being denied and ridiculed, do not sit with them until they engage in another conversation. Indeed, you would then be like them." (An-Nisa: 140). Assenting to sin is like committing it, and whoever attends a gathering of sin and does not condemn them shares equally in the burden of sin. It is obligatory to condemn whoever mocks the religion of Allah and argues about it without knowledge, and if they do not respond, then it is obligatory to leave the place.
