What is the ruling on requesting a financial grant from a company to support an electronic game development project, and what if a portion of the money remains after the project's completion? Seeking financial assistance from others is considered reprehensible, except out of necessity or from the state, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "A man will keep on asking people until he comes on the Day of Resurrection with no piece of flesh on his face." Begging is also not permissible except in narrow circumstances, such as bearing a heavy debt, or suffering a calamity that destroyed one's wealth, or severe destitution attested to by three people of sound mind. However, seeking assistance from the ruler is permissible because it is not considered blameworthy begging. When financial assistance is received, it is not permissible to spend it except for its designated purpose.

It is not permissible to set a fixed salary or amount for a partner in profitable ventures, because that invalidates the partnership. Participation must be in the profit, and any condition that leads to severing the participation in profit is not permissible.
