Why does God not distance those whom He knows will hurt the questioner's heart, despite His foreknowledge of this, and what is the wisdom in bringing them into her path?

For Allah to bestow a righteous spouse upon a Muslim, one must turn to Allah in supplication, while fulfilling the conditions for its acceptance and avoiding its impediments. Among the impediments to acceptance is hastiness, as when the supplicant says, "I supplicated but I did not see any response to me." A Muslim should not object to Allah's decree, for "He is not to be questioned as to what He does, but they will be questioned" (Quran 21:23). Allah governs with His wisdom; He may delay the response, or grant something better than what was requested, or avert a misfortune. Goodness lies in entrusting all affairs to Allah, for "Allah knows and you do not know" (Quran 2:216). One must also be wary of feeling indebted to Allah for good deeds.
