And what is the ruling on purchasing them after studying the curricula beforehand? And what is the ruling on using these certificates to seek employment?

The fundamental principle in exams is justice, honesty, and avoiding cheating. Therefore, it is not permissible for a teacher to sell or hint at exam questions, and it is forbidden to buy them from him. This is because success achieved through cheating makes employment based on it unlawful, due to the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Whoever cheats us is not of us."

However, if the entity organizing the exam openly sells the questions, there is no harm in purchasing them, as it does not result in harm to the company or the participants. This is because these questions represent the required curriculum, and just as they sell course materials, they also sell the questions. Microsoft, in this case, intends a commercial gain, and there is no objection to using this certificate to seek employment, as it proves proficiency in computing or the company's attestation of understanding the curriculum.

If this system does not reflect the trainee's true ability and grants certificates to those who do not deserve them, this will cause employers to reconsider their regard for such certificates. It does not appear that this would result in sin for the trainee.
