Is it permissible to perform the 'Tahiyyat al-Masjid' (greeting of the mosque) prayer immediately before the Maghrib prayer, and between the Adhan and Iqamah, knowing that this stirs up disagreements among worshipers in Morocco?

It is not permissible for Muslims to diverge and dispute over matters on which scholars have differed, for the issue is broad. One who adopts the opinion of an Imam should not condemn another who adopts a different opinion, so long as the disagreement is permissible. Evidence must be at the forefront, and sectarian fanaticism must be abandoned, given our current need for harmony and unity.
