The wife of a missing person has the right to maintenance and housing. If he left her a secure dwelling, she should reside in it. If she fears for herself, she should move to a dwelling where she feels safe for herself and her property. The dwelling must be among righteous neighbors, and the wife must feel secure in it. She is not obligated to live with her husband's family or her own family unless he commanded her to do so.
