What is the authenticity of the Hadith: "Whoever finds dates, let him break his fast with them, and whoever does not find them, let him break his fast with water, for it is a purifier"?

The Hadith that speaks of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, breaking his fast with fresh dates (rutab) or dried dates (tamr) before prayer is weak due to the unknown identity (jahalah) of the narrator, Al-Rabāb Ad-Dabiyyah. However, it is authentically reported from Anas ibn Malik, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, "used to break his fast with a few fresh dates (rutabāt) before praying. If there were no fresh dates, then with a few dried dates (tamarāt). And if there were no dried dates, he would take a few sips of water."
