Is it permissible to interact with foreign female students in university work groups when necessary, while adhering to formality and not overstepping boundaries?

The mixing of men and women (ikhtilat) is against Islamic law and is a cause of evil and temptation (fitna). It must be avoided, especially in schools with young women, due to the corruption and spread of adultery it leads to. Even if a person is virtuous, they will find it difficult to maintain their chastity, and the presence of a beautiful, immodestly dressed woman next to them can lead to temptation and evil. Everything that leads to temptation is forbidden (haram). One should try to study in a non-mixed environment, and if unable to do so, then they must be cautious, isolate themselves, lower their gaze, guard their private parts, and avoid closeness with women as much as possible. They should also minimize evil and choose righteous companions who will help them lower their gaze and guard their private parts.
