Are not the senses of hearing and sight and the existence of parents among the fundamentals of human existence that are not considered blessings, but rather an aid for him to cultivate the earth and adapt to life?

Servants have no right over Allah. Rather, their lives, including hearing, sight, and the development of the earth, are immense blessings and grace from Him, the Almighty. Every pulsating vein and every breath a servant takes bears witness to Allah's favor and grace upon them, and realizing this truth is the first path to gratitude. No matter how much effort a servant puts into showing gratitude, they will always fall short. The way to show gratitude is to acknowledge the inability to enumerate Allah's blessings and to fully express thanks for them, as Allah the Almighty said: "And if you should count the favor of Allah, you could not enumerate them." Knowing these blessings, such as the blessing of sight, hearing, and health, and realizing what might result from their loss, motivates the servant to thank Allah for them, because they are purely His grace, Glory be to Him. Gratitude is a cause for the increase of blessings, and ingratitude leads to a severe torment, as Allah the Almighty said: "If you are grateful, I will surely increase you [in favor]; but if you deny, indeed, My punishment is severe."
