Marriage should not distract a child from his mother; rather, he must be keen to fulfill her rights. If the son is negligent in fulfilling his mother's rights, he is doing wrong, and it is advisable to pray for him and counsel him gently, seeking the help of someone he respects. If the son is living his life without infringing upon his mother's rights, then she should ease her mind.
