Is it permissible for sisters in audio da'wah (call to Islam) rooms to speak on the microphone to teach Muslims and spread Islam, provided they adhere to the etiquette of dialogue and avoid being submissive in speech?

Teaching people their religion and calling to Allah is among the noblest of deeds and includes both men and women. However, Islamic law did not legislate the adhan (call to prayer), imamate (leading prayer), or khutbah (sermon) for women, nor were women sent as callers to Islam; rather, men were. Islamic law aims to keep women away from gatherings of men and to prevent them from raising their voices in front of non-mahram men. Therefore, a woman should not participate in teaching and dawah (calling to Islam) in mixed audio chat rooms. Instead, she should specialize in calling women, or write articles and the like. This differs from her asking questions and seeking clarification in a mixed gathering, provided there is no softness in speech and there is safety from temptation.
