The answer

Disobeying one's parents is one of the gravest major sins. There are indeed Hadiths indicating that its punishment is hastened in this world, such as: "Two [sins] for which Allah hastens punishment in this world are injustice and disobeying parents," and "Two gates whose punishment is hastened in this world are injustice and disobedience." It was also mentioned that "There is no sin more deserving that Allah Almighty hasten the punishment for its perpetrator in this world, in addition to what He saves for him in the Hereafter, than injustice and cutting off ties of kinship." A weak Hadith also states that "Allah postpones the punishment for all sins as He wills until the Day of Resurrection, except for disobeying parents, for Allah hastens its punishment for its perpetrator in life before death."
