Is it permissible to engage in anal intercourse with one's wife out of necessity, and is this a matter of dispute among scholars?

The verified scholars have concluded that anal intercourse with women is prohibited. The verse: "So approach your tillage however you will" is specified by authentic, continuously transmitted hadiths prohibiting anal intercourse with women. It has been attributed to Ibn 'Umar and Malik that they permitted it, but Al-Qurtubi refuted this, clarifying that Nafi' denied that anyone narrated this from Ibn 'Umar, and that Malik denounced and considered it an abomination. Al-Darimi narrated that Ibn 'Umar disapproved of Muslims doing this. This act contradicts natural inclination and causes serious diseases. The necessity mentioned has no basis, and the dispute in this matter is not considered valid.
