Is electronic correspondence considered a private meeting (khalwa) if the woman's face is not seen and her voice is not heard?

Part of piety (taqwa) is to distance oneself from the causes of trials (fitan), doubts (shubuhat), and desires (shahawat). A man's conversation with a woman and the exchange of messages through various communication means, without a legitimate need, can lead to serious consequences. Every means to something unlawful is itself unlawful. Therefore, it is not permissible for a man to converse with or message a non-mahram woman electronically without a need.
