Is the creed sound in negating attributes not affirmed in the Qur'an and Sunnah, and in declaring Allah transcendent of them? And do you advise me of anything?

Attributes or terms that are not mentioned in the Qur’an or Sunnah (definition), neither by way of negation nor affirmation, should not be subjected to negation or affirmation. Instead, clarification should be sought from the one who utters them: if they intend a correct meaning, we should agree with them on the meaning, not on the wording. It is better to avoid such wording. As for attributes of imperfection, Allah is absolutely free from them.

As for the advice, it is to refrain from delving into these minute details and to focus on seeking the fundamentals and principles of the science of creed, and to read books that are easy in their expression, such as "Al-Aqeedah Al-Wasitiyyah" by Ibn Taymiyyah, and "Al-Qawa'id Al-Muthla fi Sifat Allah wa Asma'ihi Al-Husna" and "Asma' Allah wa Sifatuho wa Mawqif Ahl Al-Sunnah Minha" by Ibn Uthaymeen.
