Is a man considered as sinful as an adulterer if the scent of his perfume causes temptation for women, especially with the increasing number of men who care about their elegant and alluring appearance, and why are men not made aware that they can be a source of temptation for women?

There is no harm for a woman in looking at a man, unless it is with lust or fear of temptation, in which case it becomes unlawful; based on the words of the Almighty: (And tell the believing women to lower their gaze), and provided she does not scrutinize the man or contemplate the details of his body and clothes. As for the man, it is permissible for him to perfume himself and adorn himself; based on the words of the Almighty: (O Children of Adam, take your adornment at every Masjid). However, he should not exaggerate in adornment if he fears that women might be tempted by him, out of consideration for the meaning intended by the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, in the hadith: "Gently, O Anjasha, do not break the vessels [i.e., the women]." And a man is not considered sinful or an adulterer if he perfumes himself, because he has only done what is permissible for him.
