What is the authenticity of the following Hadith Qudsi: "O My servant, I am with you; if they shun you, then I am your beloved; and if they hurt you, then I am your physician"?
The aforementioned has no basis, and it is not permissible to spread it or attribute it to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, for he said: «Whoever intentionally fabricates a lie against me, let him occupy his seat in Hellfire», and «Whoever narrates a Hadith from me, knowing it to be a lie, is one of the liars.» Authentic Hadiths have been narrated indicating that Allah is with His believing servant, among them His saying: «I am as My servant thinks of Me, and I am with him when he remembers Me.» And authentic Hadiths have been confirmed indicating Allah Almighty's love for His believing servant, among them His saying: «My servant continues to draw near to Me with supererogatory acts until I love him.» It has also been mentioned in the Quran and that Allah is the Healer.
