"Al-Qadir" (The All-Powerful) is one of Allah's Beautiful Names, indicating His power over everything, as evidenced by the texts of the Quran and Sunnah. Scholars have unanimously agreed that "Al-Qadeer" (The Omnipotent) and "Al-Muqtadir" (The All-Capable) are also among Allah's Beautiful Names. Therefore, whoever claims that "Al-Qadir" is not one of Allah's Names, or that it is impermissible to be named "Abdul-Qadir" (Servant of the All-Powerful), is ignorant of Allah's Names and Attributes.
