In that case, he will receive the reward if he fulfills what is incumbent upon him, such as making up the fasts or feeding the poor. And whoever misses out on this reward must engage in sincere repentance. There are other deeds that expiate sins in Ramadan, such as performing (night prayers) during the last ten nights of Ramadan, and performing qiyam on Laylat al-Qadr out of faith and hope for reward, which forgives sins.
