The question

Is it permissible to adopt Imam Abu Hanifa's view that deliberately swallowing food remnants does not break the fast, and to analogize the licking of aloe vera sap to it, in order to alleviate scrupulousness in acts of worship?

The answer

If swallowing food is doubtful, then doubt does not affect the fast, especially if it occurred under the influence of whisperings (waswasa), and there is no need for a make-up fast. The Hanafī school holds that swallowing what is between the teeth breaks the fast if its size is equal to or larger than a chickpea. They also hold that swallowing saliva breaks the fast if it contains the taste of sesame or sugar.
