What is the ruling on the entire family, including the parents, the son and his wife, and his brother, gathering at one dining table, believing that there is blessing in gathering?

Gathering for meals is permissible and encouraged, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Gather for your food and mention the name of Allah upon it, and it will be blessed for you." Sufficiency and blessings arise from people gathering for a meal, and they increase with the number of people. This recommendation is even stronger for a single family, due to the importance of honoring parents and fostering affection. However, if non-mahrams are present, such as brothers' wives, then modesty and lowering the gaze must be observed. It is preferable for women to be at a separate table.
