What is the ruling on prolonging a phone call with one's mother despite the husband's request not to prolong it, and is hanging up considered an act of disobedience to parents or incurring God's wrath?

Allah has made it obligatory upon the wife to obey her husband in what is right, and to honor her parents and treat them kindly. Therefore, the husband should not prevent his wife from calling her mother if the expenses are from her own money and she is not extravagant. However, if the expenses are from the husband's money or if there is extravagance involved, then he has the right to limit the call, and she must obey him. She can combine honoring her mother and obeying her husband by not prolonging the call.
