When we wash the deceased, do we place henna on him, just as we apply perfume?

There is no text from the scholars permitting the application of henna to the body of the deceased. Rather, they state that camphor should be added to the final washing to perfume the deceased and repel insects. Perfume is placed on the joints and places of prostration of the deceased after washing and before shrouding.
