What is the ruling on selling cologne without knowing the buyer's purpose, or with the knowledge that they will drink it to get intoxicated?

It is permissible to sell cologne containing alcohol, provided it is not known that the the buyer's intention is intoxication. However, it is forbidden to sell it to someone if it is known or highly probable that they intend it for that purpose, as Ibn Qudamah said: "Selling becomes forbidden and void only if the seller knows the buyer's intention." Any action that leads to sin is prohibited, due to the Prophet (peace be upon him) saying: "Allah has cursed wine, its drinker, its server, its seller, its buyer, its presser, the one for whom it is pressed, its carrier, and the one to whom it is carried."
