ما حكم قول المرأة لزوجها أنا لست زوجتك؟

A woman's statement to her husband, "You are not my husband," has no consequence, because the wife does not have the right to divorce her husband. As for a man's statement to his wife, "You are not my wife," this is one of the ambiguous divorce expressions (kinayat al-talaq (definition)). The wife should avoid such words so that her husband does not become angry and respond in kind or affirm her statement. Marital problems must be addressed with affection, understanding, and respect for rights.
