Is a woman entitled to seek divorce and annul the marriage contract due to the abuse and rejection of the husband's family, and the mother's refusal to complete the marriage, knowing that the husband is committed and fears God?

It is impermissible to hold the husband accountable for his mother's mistake, nor is it permissible for the wife to refuse consummation with the husband after the legal marriage contract, except for a brief period to prepare herself. Similarly, she is not permitted to request a divorce due to this mistake, as requesting a divorce without a valid reason is forbidden by religious law. Furthermore, the mother's request for her son to separate from his wife constitutes unlawful incitement (takhmīb). The wife must obey her husband, as her obedience to him is more obligatory than her obedience to her parents after her marriage.
