Is suicide considered a person's predetermined lifespan?

Every soul has a fixed, appointed term that neither delays nor advances, and no soul will die until it has fully received its sustenance and its term. The one who commits suicide has reached the end of their term through the very cause they initiated, but this does not exempt them from accountability. This is because Allah granted humans ability and will to distinguish between good and evil. So, if a person willingly violates what is forbidden by religious law, they deserve punishment. It is not permissible to use predestination (qadar) as an excuse to justify violating a religious command, for predestination is a matter of the unseen, known only after it occurs. If an act occurs that contradicts religious law, such as suicide, its perpetrator deserves punishment.
