Is a person held accountable for wishing for death without the intention of committing suicide, and does this differ from wishing for death through God's decree?

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade wishing for death or praying for it upon oneself due to harm. He guided those who did so to say: "O Allah, keep me alive as long as life is better for me, and cause me to die when death is better for me." The prohibition includes wishing in the heart and by the tongue. This differs from suicide, which is a person killing himself, and a severe warning has been issued concerning it. The one who commits suicide will be tortured with what he killed himself with in the fire of Hell.
