Has the appointed time for the deceased or for one who died as a result of an accident arrived for them to leave this worldly life, and is it the predetermined time decreed by Allah in advance?

The lifespans of creatures are predestined in the knowledge of Allah Almighty; they neither precede nor delay their appointed time. Death, regardless of its cause, be it murder or illness, is part of this predetermined lifespan. The killer has no effect on shortening the lifespan of the murdered; rather, it is a cause for the termination of the lifespan that was decreed eternally. The killer will be held accountable for his forbidden act. This is contrary to the view of the Mu'tazilah, who claim that a person has two lifespans and that murder severs one of them. Similarly, maintaining kinship ties increases one's lifespan, meaning it is a cause for the increase in lifespan that Allah has already predetermined.
