What should a person who has committed adultery and wishes to repent do, and is it permissible for him to marry a chaste woman based on what is stated in Surat An-Nur?

Do not despair of the mercy of Allah, and repent to Allah with sincere repentance from fornication, while staying away from everything that leads to the unlawful, and increasing in good deeds. If you repent, the description of fornication will be removed from you, and it is permissible for you to marry a chaste and pure woman. Strive in supplication, asking Allah to free you from the Fire, admit you into Paradise, and grant you the highest Firdaws.
