Does washing impure clothes with water after washing pure clothes, then putting them in the dryer, purify them?

Impure clothes are purified by the removal of the trace of impurity from them through washing, even if they are not put in the dryer. However, if the trace of impurity is not removed by washing, and then the clothes are dried, they are not purified by that; because impurity does not disappear with dryness. Rather, water is necessary to remove it, according to the majority of scholars. One should avoid excessive scrupulosity (waswasa) in this matter.
