What is the ruling on using scented wipes to clean the urine or feces of a small child? Does the hand become impure by wiping the child with them? Is it permissible to use them to clean the rest of the child's body?

There is no harm in using tissues to clean a child from urine or other impurities, whether for istinja' (cleaning oneself after relieving oneself) or for removing impurities from their body, so long as there is no harm in doing so. Ritual washing with water is not obligatory if there is a fear that the child might be harmed by the cold. The hand does not become impure by wiping away an impurity unless it touches the impurity itself. Wiping with a tissue is not a purifier in the sense of ritual purity, but it is a cleaner and removes repulsive matter, which is sufficient for a child due to their not being held accountable (not being mukallaf).
