Was the field of architecture mentioned in the Holy Quran or the Prophetic Sunnah? And how can the study of architecture be transformed into an act of worship for Allah? And is there a reward from Allah for studying or working in life sciences?

The Qur'an and Sunnah are revelations intended to guide humanity and expound upon moral principles and laws. They may also touch upon some aspects of the universe and stories of past peoples for admonition. There are verses within them that relate to urban planning and engineering, including the Almighty's saying: (And your Lord inspired the bee, saying, "Take for yourselves houses from the mountains and from the trees and from what they construct") and (And you carve out of the mountains houses with skill) and (And Pharaoh said, "O Haman, construct for me a lofty tower that I may reach the ways") and (The example of those who take allies other than Allah is like that of the spider who takes a home. And indeed, the frailest of homes is the home of the spider, if they only knew).

It is possible to make the study of architectural engineering and life sciences an act of worship to Allah Almighty. As for being preoccupied with study to the exclusion of dawah (inviting to Islam), there are previous fatwas regarding that.
