Is it possible to interpret "The star when it descends" in Surat An-Najm by applying the verb "hawā" (to descend/fall) to the collapse of stars upon themselves and their transformation into black holes, in addition to the interpretations that speak of the star falling from a high place or scattering on the Day of Resurrection?

The Qur'an is interpreted through the denotation of linguistic terms and is not to be burdened with theories lacking evidence. In Arabic, 'hawa' (هوى) linguistically means 'to fall'. The apparent meaning of the Qur'an indicates the falling of stars at the advent of the Hour, as in the Almighty's saying: "When the sun is folded up; And when the stars fall, losing their light." (Quran 81:1-2). Some researchers have mentioned the occurrence of an explosion in a giant star in past years.
